about
“Four Letter Words” is a song about resilience in a time of change- it’s rebellious and full of love and vengeance too. Little known detail about that the title of the song is also a reference to Prince’s song “Joy In Repetition” - I’ll let you do your own deducting as to the reasoning for said choice.
Additionally, the DNC Remix was created to remove the original bridge (written in Russian) from the song; for obvious reasons.
I hope “Four Letter Words” (DNC Remix) brings you hours of repetition.
Always in your corner,

INTRO
The Scent of lilacs x12
VERSE
The scent of lilacs drifting heavy in Humboldt Park
Sirens whaling in the distance after dark,
Hold your hand a little tighter while we step in step
'Cross the street to the new day
VERSE
Four letter words hold everything you need
When you're born you are taught to take or to give
Those four letter words make you all I've got
Never lose sight of that
CHORUS
(Four letter words make you all I've got
Four letter words, four letter words, four)
And you find
That you're getting on with your life for sometime now
And you find
That you still talk to the angles from time to time
HOOK
And it gets heavier but it gets lighter sometimes,
It gets heavier, but it get lighter sometimes
And it gets heavier but it gets lighter sometimes,
It gets heavier, but it get lighter sometimes
BRIDGE
(A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!) x4
Now or never, the more I move with you
The more, the better with you, now or never
The shade will never take
No matter how this shakes out
We will never fade away
CHORUS
(A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!) x4
And you find that
You're getting on with your life for sometime now
And you find
That you still talk to the angles from time to time.
(A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey in all of us
A little bit of disobey, little bit of disobey, hey!) x4
HOOK
And it gets heavier but it gets lighter sometimes
It gets heavier, but i gets lighter sometimes
It gets heavier but it gets lighter sometimes
It gets heavier, but i gets lighter sometimes
